To My Patient Family,
I have always considered my loyal dental team members and my beloved patients as family. It is my responsibility to take care of family and to do everything in my power to keep my family safe.
I am happy to announce that our office has reopened as of Monday, May 11. The Covid-19 Virus has affected all of us and it could possibly change the way we conduct our daily life well into the next year. IT IS VERY PROBABLE THAT EVERY CURRENT DENTAL HYGIENE APPOINTMENT WILL BE CHANGED. To adjust to the new normal in the field of Dentistry, we are following the guidelines of the American Dental Association (ADA), The U.S. Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
The new protocol for visiting our office for an appointment will be as follows:
When you arrive at our office, you will call 253-5379 from your car and we will direct you in. Please wear a mask upon entering the building and you will be greeted by a dental assistant who will take your temperature with an infrared thermometer. If your temperature is over 100.4 degrees, we will not be able to take care of your dental needs on that day.
You will be asked the following questions:
- Do you have a cough?
- Do you have shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?
- Do you have chills or repeated shaking with chills?
- Do you have muscle spasms?
- Do you have a headache?
- Do you have a sore throat?
- Do you have a new loss of taste or smell?
- Have you recently travelled to a Covid-19 intense area?
Dr. Steve Krist
In addition, our team is outfitted with N95 masks, Face Shields, disposable gowns, and disposable shoe coverings as personal protective equipment recommended by the CDC and the ADA. We also equipped our office with an air filtration system in every room for our patients’ safety.
I look forward to seeing you again and I am happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep my patient family and my dental team family safe.
I value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back.
