Dr Krist Letter

Stephen M. Krist, D.D.S., P.A.

A letter to my patient family,

It is with my highest gratitude and appreciation that I write this letter to you, my treasured patients. You have humbled me with your loyalty and trust as I have tried to treat your dental needs with my highest level of care, skill, and judgement. The special relationships I have had the pleasure to experience have been life enhancing for me and I will continue to embrace these encounters. I always considered myself fortunate and blessed to be a dentist, which I consider the greatest profession in the world. Now, after 43 years of doing what I love, it is time to spend more time with my wife of 45 years, and with my 9 grandchildren, 3 daughters and 3 sons-in-law. There are also countless volunteer organizations calling my name. It has been a most wonderful career.

I am so proud to announce that as of March 1, 2023, Dr. John Obeck will be taking over the ownership of the practice. Dr. Obeck is like a son to me as he grew up in my practice starting when he was 4 years old. He attended Christ the King Elementary School and Jesuit High School just as I had. He furthered his education at the University of Richmond and the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Obeck is a kind, caring and skillful dentist whom I have the utmost confidence. He will continue the tradition and philosophy of the dental practice molded by Dr. John Torres, Dr. Ed VanEepoel and me, Dr. Steve Krist. The competent staff of Pam, Alana, Colleen, Marcia, Kristi, Elena, and Anh will not change. It is my hope you will exhibit the same confidence and patronage to Dr. John Obeck as you have with
me.

I will remain in the practice until the end of June and don’t be surprised if I make a guest appearance from time to time after that.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for our trust, loyalty, and friendship.

With best wishes I remain,

Stephen M. Krist, D.D.S.
